We have piles . . . and then we don't!
The landscape of the Beach Rd. end of our street is a changing landscape. Literally. One day, it was clean walking, riding, driving to the end. The next we were thwarted by piles of rocks and gravel. There is speculation that perhaps these piles appeared as a result of construction work - a block of apartments is being built on the block beside them. There was also the suggestion that they had been dumped there to build up the road, with the expectation that road users would gradually spread them across the surface. And this is exactly what has happened.
